Rising Roses - version 2

Spray paint on wood using hand cut stencils made from hand drawn drawings. This painting is one of small series made using this stencil all of which were made using different background techniques meaning they're all pretty much unique. The dimensions are 28cm x 50.5cm.

This version has a textured/ cracked paint background which is overlayed with layers of paint in a geometric pattern that the roses are wound through. The roses are a symbol of the hope for social justice.
